I have hated Cink with a passion ever since. What makes it worse is that he pretty much disappeared after that win, too. Didn’t even build on it. Without checking, I’d guess he won maybe once more after that Open? If that? And if he did, it wasn’t a high profile event. Just sad, because I kinda liked him before that debacle.

I believe Cink had cancer or his wife did as to why he kinda of fell off the map after the win.

This is the one tourney where I genuinely hurt for the loser. That approach into 18 was struck so perfectly.
