I’ve played quite a bit of Houston area golf but have never heard of any of these courses. I’m guessing they are all private.

The Bearkat course in Huntsville would be brutal from the tips because of length. Also Grand Lake Estates from the tips as well.

I always heard a story of Greg Norman trying to hit the par 5 #11 in two and not getting close to making it.

I believe it was #11, it's been a long time since I played there.

A great course, but hitting greens are a must. Tough up-and-downs if you don’t.

Definitely not Wildcat - Highland course. Might be the easiest course I’ve ever played.
