re: What is the PGA's beef with these Saudi events?

I don't know the number, but the Tour allows players to ask for & receive exemptions for non Tour events.

Kevin Na just "resigned" from the PGA Tour.
From what I understand, if the USGA was not going to allow these guys to play it would be on the grounds they were suspended by the Tour. By resigning from the Tour he can't be suspended giving the USGA no leg to stand on were they to try to exclude the LIV players.

This is such an ignorant comment. You can't grow the sport if you limit it to 50 players. Those young players can't "get better" if you're eliminating the tournaments that allow them to "get better." Everyone doesn't walk on tour and dominate like Tiger.
This. Tiger is the unicorn. Most of these guys go from college to Korn Ferry tour to grinding it out on the PGA for a few years before they become the "names". It takes years to perfect your craft. You get rid of the "bloat" as some of you call it you will really hurt the game.
It doesn't just happen, it's a process.

Of the "names" in the sport, how many did this?
I can tell you that Spieth and JT and Rahm and Scheffler, you know the huge names in the game right now, did not follow your model

Sure, because he had to.
But he didn't have to go to college to the Korn Ferry and then grind it out for a few years before getting to the top of the game.
He was contending in Majors and shot 59 his second year as a pro

3-D chess move if LIV tour doesn’t work out. Na resigns in good standing and can reapply in the future.

Names 5 players out of 125 that are fully exempt. What a clown.

1. There's more than 125 fully exempt players
2. I was talking about the "names" of the sport, and how they typically find that success extremely early.
But for you to understand that, you'd have to read past my screen name which you are seemingly incapable of doing without losing your mind

right, but that’s literally what he did.

Brilliant post. The Tour has made it extremely clear their policy regarding the LIV tour.

Right, so what was your point about waivers, when you know they're going to deny them?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you implying the Tour is going to deny every waiver request they receive?

From LIV, yes. They said they were.

This will probably come as a surprise to you, but there are non LIV events in Europe & Asia that would require a Tour exemption to play in.

Are you taking crazy pills? None of your posts make any sense.

That's hilarious coming from you. You're the poster child for posts that don't make any sense.
