Back injury at the Valspar on March 20, 2022. He withdrew from Match Play to seek therapy at Orthopedic Specialists in Shreveport so he would be OK for Augusta...he wasn't and truth be known he hasn't been the same player since before the injury.

He fnished 2nd a month after the Valspar, won a month after that at the Charles Schwalb, and then finished 4th at the RBC 2 weeks later. Leading up to the Valspar, he missed 3 cuts in a row, then finished T9 and T26. If his back injury affected his play, it didn't really show up on the leaderboards.
