Mine doesn't seem as painful as most people are talking about online. At this point it's just that I can't get this thing to stop bleeding/draining.

Regulated to garage workouts out of embarrassment of going to the gym. Stops me from working on my hip mobility as I don't want to put too much pressure on the area sitting down.

I'm going to see another dermatologist here shortly for another opinion.

Had one removed. Didn’t hurt afterwards but they told me not to workout heavy for a few months but I could still do lightweight. The worst part was the gauze stuffing. Make sure your wife loves you.

Basically what I was going through but already had home gym. Was tired of it draining while I was working out. It never ever hurt.

My wife passes out at the sight of blood. Getting her to help remove the gauze and repack was out of the question.

You all keep saying pack it… like put gauze inside the actual open wound?

I have vasovagal syndrome and the thought of this already makes me want to faint

Yeaaahhhhh the dermatologist just said they can inject it and that could help resolve this.

So I’m gonna try that route first before scheduling surgery.

Just gotta do it bro. It’s worth it. It’s been several years and haven’t thought about it since

If in BR, I had Keith Rhynes. Awesome dude. He walked in with cowboy boots on and I was like “hell yeah, that’s my doc”

My wife should’ve been a nurse, dermatologist, or MD. When she first pulled out the gauze her reaction was “well that’s nasty and cool”

The dermatologist felt confident that it would go resolve with an injection or two and that given current symptoms she would do the same thing. She said the tract isn’t very deep.

I may just schedule the surgery out just in case and cancel if things start trending up.

Did you all go under for these procedures?

I'm confused as the doctor made it sound like I wouldn't be asleep for the procedure, but the scheduling coordinator was certain that I would be under for it.

Am I just getting confused about medical terms?

I fainted before surgery. I don't know how they expect anyone not to if you have to fast all day.

3 days post-op. My hips are in a ton of pain from not being able to lay on my back to rest or sleep.

My wife deserves a medal for caring for me and the kid all weekend.

Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life.
