Wow, good luck to him. Did he get a pretty favorable prognosis?
Yes.
Cancer free now.

I know everyone says it, but the worst part is the prep, and even that's not terrible when you consider the alternative is colon cancer. The actual procedure is a piece of cake. Nighty night and then you wake up farting.

I am 42 and have been going every three years. They found 11 polyps when I was 35, all negative. But due to the high count, at a young age, I have had to go every 3 years.

I’m 41 and have had two colonoscopies
1st one I had 4-5 polyps, and I was 34. My dad died of colon cancer and I had gi issues after my Afghanistan deployment
2nd one, was last month and after losing 50 plus pounds, I was clean as a whistle

If the meat is of poor quality
The healthier an animals diet is, the healthier we are when we eat that animal

I would say, skip the box and just get the colonoscopy.
I did the box a month ago and it came back positive, finally had the colonoscopy this past week. 3 polyps removed, waiting on pathology, but he does expect them to be cancerous.
The time between positive box and procedure were the worst part though, you do not know what you have and I got to think about it for 2 weeks.
If I had just got the procedure, it would have been much easier on the mind
Insurance paid for both, but it matters how the doctor enters it. Have that conversation ahead of time with doctor's office and understand your insurance. Out of pocket mine would have been just over $1,000.
My prep was Sutab, which was two rounds of 12 tablets and water. Besides the obvious of what they do to your system, the prep was nothing.
