Vitamin D. Most of us are deficient.

Who is most of us? Your level drops as you age, but younger people dont need to be popping vitamin d.

if you want to help some things I recommend reading the following and implementing these. It's a link to multiple post from Dante trudal on Instagram who is one of the best in fixing health in bodybuilders. His info applies for anyone.

These post cover supplements from controlling hemocrit, preventing clotting, removing plaque, improving cholesterol, to improving blood pressure.

Outside of diet and starting weight training, these are the top things you can do/take for health.

i recommend the pomagranate juice for most people in high dose for abotu 12 weeks to help plaque if over 40 or have reason to believe you may have build up.

the others take if you think you are at risk.

for general health....simple krill oil and vit d and a multi will cover most people but i highly suggest you get blood work done and attacking the areas of need, not just throwing the kitchen sink at things.

absolutely needed probably none

that being said, those that are helpful i kinda think depends on your lifestyle and choices?

i like strength training and am getting old. so i take things for joint health

fish oil (generally just good anyway), glucosamine, turmeric, and started collagen powder. Someone recommended the collagen powder here and i thought BS, but ive noticed a big help in joints particularly my elbow since then.

I’ve done a lot of reading and watching YouTube videos for science based answers.

D3K2
D3 because almost assuredly I’m deficient(office job).K2 for the calcium control. I drink a lot of milk.

DHA
because there’s a lot of evidence for it’s part in longevity and numerous other positives on the body. No risk in supplementing it.

Magnesium
I was catching some gnarly neck cramps and stiffness. Reaearch lead me to supplementing magnesium before bed. Cramps have disappeared

Protein
When needed for macros

Creatine
Daily to promote muscle growth. Safe and studied a shite ton to improve growth.

My goal is good heart function, lower blood pressure, and anti inflammatory, so I take:

-a multi gummy
-potassium
-magnesium
-turmeric
-CoQ10 (water soluble version)
-omega 3
