Neck Clicking While Swimming

Just got back in the pool.
Neck clicks every time I turn my head to breathe. Never did that before. No pain. Just clicking.
Any ideas about how to prevent this?

Does it click on dry land? when you breathe on both sides?

Add stretching and strength training to the neck/shoulder muscles. Your neck is tight and/or weak.
