My buddy works there. I almost went join there but just not enough room.

Club 4 for lunch has to be great. I've been going at 5:45/6 since the kids are out of school. Big difference that getting there at 4:45/5am. Don't go in the afternoons. Its terrible!!!

Buy your own bar and see if they would let you store it there!

The owner is your buddy? I like him a lot.

I am going to try to get him in on Squatober

This was just an ok workout because I had a few birthday drinks over the weekend.

W4D2
Pretty quick workout in an out in an hour. Subbed inverted rows for the chin ups and finally bumped up the hammer curls in cardio. Looking forward to wrapping this up this week.

Oh, hell yeah, do that Jose. Rogue sells travel bags for barbells now that I think of it.

You'd be like the gym version of those "Too Cold Scorpio" type of dudes that bring their own pool cues to the bar. I wouldn't store it there, I'd pack it in every day, and be really dramatic about it when you "unsheath" it.

I don't know if he owns it. I know he trains people there. CG.

He used to train people at someone's huge personal gym. I went do my max lifts one year for Squatober there. That place was amazing.

Yea that’s not him. The owner is BL. There’s no male trainers there.

W4 D2 done.

I switched up the deads to do the 2,3,4 reps with same weight as I didn't feel like messing with plates after each set. I dunno guess I'm lazy but it worked, hard to hold on to the bar for last set sweating balls in garage gym in summer time

The heavy curls followed by tons of hammer curls was a nice burner and had arms torched by end...

cheers

That’s how I did that workout today too. I agree the last three heavy sets were tough.

Added yesterday’s shrugs into this workout too. I was spent, heat was no joke at 1pm in the garage gym

Knocked this one out this morning. I usually do cardio on non lifting days, but decided to take the day off yesterday. I think it really helped recovery wise. Had absolutely no issues with anything today. Even went heavier than expected on pullovers and concentration curls. Looking forward to finishing the week off tomorrow with all the supersets.

My legs were a little beat up from cardio, but I pushed through it.

Tomorrow just seems like a never-ending superset.

Knock out Friday and then a weekend of baseball before starting Pool Season II.

W4D3 Done

Felt good today so decided to ramp the squats after the 2nd set adding 10lbs to each set. Was able to complete at 30lbs heavier than what the day called for. We'll see if it affects tomorrow's workout, but rest of the workout felt really good getting stronger as I was able to increase on the barbell curls, RDL's, and meadow's rows. Did a barbell complex after lifting and called it a day. Took about an 75 minutes all told with the conditioning afterwards.

Looking forward to wrapping PS1 up tomorrow and starting PS2 on Monday. Will we start a new thread for PS2?

Week 3 in the books. Very nice workout today. Loved all the supersets. Only negative to report was with the chin-ups. Chin-ups and pull-ups have always been a weak spot for me and I ran out of gas on the last 2 sets. I've been forcing myself to do these unassisted so I don't get reliant on a counter-weight. The wider bench grip I started using felt much better today and I didn't really have issues with any of those sets. I was a little unsure of my OHP after the first set, but I stuck with it. Definitely had better results on sets 2 and 3 using the same weight. My tennis elbow flared up a little on 2nd set of upright rows, but dissappeared on the 3rd set. These oddities of the later sets feeling better than the first set threw me today.

Pool season 1 done. 2nd favorite program behind Arm Farm.

W4D4 was a doozy but a fun one. Thought I went too light the first round, but I ended up picking the right weights. They got heavier

Completed yesterday and def felt the pump at the end. Did light face pulls and bench press to warm up. Picked 65% for bench and kept the same weight for all other exercises. Failed at 7 pushups on the fifth set had to myorep to get to 10. Took maybe 40 minutes including the warm warm up, but it was an excellent day.

How do you make a dead gym at 6am even more silent? Have the power go out and it kill the music, TVs, fans, and everything else that makes the little silent hums.

Lost my concentration during my 6th bench set when the power went out mid-set. Recovered, but definitely lost focus when the lights went off. Went ahead and continued thru the workout in the silence. It was different, but oddly peaceful.

For the most part bench was fine. The last set of 5@80 could've been better. Squat was great. It was short, heavy, and to the point. I pushed myself on pullovers, dips, and BB shrugs. Felt good to get the burning on those accessories.

If I want to get my goal of 1000# combined 1RM at the end of the year, I'll need to rely on squat and dead. Bench has just been harder than expected this month. For the most part I'm hitting the sets and reps, it's just not as clean and easy as it has been. As of now I'm planning on holding my bench TM the same for next month. Squat I'll increase 10 and deadlift will probably go up 10 as well.
