Is it good for weight loss in any way? I have this stigma with it where I’ll just bulk up if I take it.

As I understand it you may gain weight from muscular absorption of water, but it isn’t like you’ll be fatter. Your muscles will just be fuller. Which is an aesthetic positive.

Creatine pushes water into the muscles, “it can actually aid in fat loss..” according to Dr. Andy Galpin

should help performance in a 5k but will make you keep more water weight so dunno if worth the trade off in your case.
