Watched part of it last night. It was pretty depressing to watch his day to day life. I'm pretty sure he turned pro as a natural. He had the best genetics without a doubt. The conversations and questions he had with other pro's that they spoke about, were about protocols. Rumor has it, that Flex let him in on what he was doing and bam, started dominating.

Pete Rubish is a powerlifter, not a bodybuilder, but his YouTube channel has some of the most frank, informative discussions of PED use I've ever seen.
Sample is his video on his own experiences with Trenbolone:

Concerning that they never mention PED use. I’m sure that didn’t help his condition

Just watched it. Man Ronnie seems like an incredibly humble and engaging guy. I enjoyed it.

Yup. Me too. Was pitiful to watch but he got what he wanted out of life. Now he pays the price.
I blame the judges. They set the standards and reward those with insane amounts of mass. Something like this was bound to happen.
Those kids are going to be Heartbreakers when grown. Nice family

In the documentary he talked about Kevin Levrone I believe who convinced him to start drinking coffee and vodka the night before competitions.
He said Ronnie was so uptight about everything and his main problem was he wasn’t having as much fun as he did when he started.
The morning after (drinking vodka/coffee and eating pizza) Kevin said he knew Ronnie was going to win as soon as he took his shirt off.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was just alcohol he needed to dry out....thats how much of a freak he was. All the while, other guys in the 90s were abusing diuretics. I have a friend who used to go back and forth with Nasser over email, some of the protocols he shared were outrageous.

Oh no doubt, I’ve met a few and heard some of the stuff they’re taking. I can’t believe they think that shite is actually worth it.

One guy died during a competition because he took too many laxatives

plenty of old bodybuilders and powerlifters are his age and well over 300 lbs and still training, walking and thriving and using gear

Botched surgeries is what has lead Coleman to his issues. Just had a recent surgery and is walking without pain.
