What blood tests/panels - general health

I’m in the BR area and want to get a baseline/checkup on where I am health wise. What’s the best way to go about it? Can I go through a GP? What questions/tests do I need to ask for?
Im in my mid 30s and relatively “healthy”. I workout in spurts - couple months 3/4 times a week - couple months just general activity. I’ve done a lot more research lately and have made some healthier choices. Eating higher protein diets, getting better sleep, supplementing with creatine/fish oil/fiber/multi vit.
I feel good but there’s concerns. All the men in my family have had heart issues. Pops and uncle having heart attacks in their late 50s or early 60s while being very active men. I’ve had comments from doctors when I was 19-20 about my blood pressure being high. I was a defensive back in college, I was in amazing shape but still high blood pressure (135 sys).
I want more info. Am I sensitive to Sat fat? Is my Testosterone in good levels?
Seems like reasonable questions to get some baselines on where I am.

I normally do a CBC, Lipid Panel, and CMP done every 3-6 months
Then Test, estrogen, free test, LSH, FSH every 6 months
You can get a home blood pressure monitor for 50 bucks or so. Depends how fancy of a model you want.
I use a clinic that does health/wellness. You pay a monthly fee and you have access to the provider for pretty much whatever you want. Visits cost nothing. Just have to pay for whatever tests/labs you want done.
If you have insurance, they will probably cover your labs once or twice a year a your GPs office.
Or you can order your own through PrivateMD labs and run into Labcorp or quest. Usually will run you between $100-$300 on what you want done

I just had mine done by my GP at my yearly physical. Insurance requires it to get a discount so they paid for the lab tests.

Since you have family history of cardio issues and possibly high BP, consider getting the advanced lipid panel or cardio IQ which will provide apoB

Where are you located?

I also get A1C, insulin level, apo (helps to measure risk of heart disease) and homocysteine level (I have the mthfr gene and take a methylated b vitamin). High homocysteine is also associated with cvd risk.

Lp(a) and ApoB levels good for letting you know what your cardiac risk is.

Another lab to consider is Vitamin D. My primary care explained that a deficiency can contribute to insomnia, depression, lower immune function.
Mine was low and she prescribed a weekly supplement. I am sleeping much better this past week.
