I just run once per week, worked up from 5K to half marathon in like 6 months. I just do 6 miles once a week now and ramp up from there before a half.

The guy I was running with is now 76 yrs. old and that SOB still gets on a treadmill for an hour at a time about 3 days a week and he has had no issues
So what you’re saying is it’s totally inconclusive on whether it was the running that caused or added to your injuries?

Out of curiosity what is your motivation/goal here? Running is not exactly gonna just improve your overall endurance, its just gonna improve your ability to run more.

No. What I'm saying is injuries are not level across the board where everyone gets hurt if doing the same things. Some of it comes down to genetics. Not all people are created the same in that aspect.
There's no doubt in my mind that all that running on hard surfaces contributed to what is going on in my life now. For the better part of several years I was hitting 30+ miles a week of ground pounding running.

I switched to a 4 day/week workout plan but I hate taking days off. I really enjoy the process of improving so I thought I’d try getting back into running a bit.

Less pressure on your joints and you can get jacked and throw any “runner” through a window.
I know I'll never work out that hard again
