Could someone add the Sig Pic of the "Zoltar Speaks" wishing machine from the movie Big to my user profile? I'd really appreciate it.
I would prefer the actual photo from the movie, the photo with Zoltar's eyes glowing bright red. If you do a google search and click on images, you'll find it almost immediately.

That particular image represents nearly a month's worth of artwork. I have no problem with people using any of my images. In fact, that's why I do them; for fellow fans to enjoy. As I am quick to point out, I have no finacial vested interest in any art.
But to ask someone to alter my artwork for your own purposes, well, for lack of a better term, that sucks.

Tim created that artwork by hand. It takes a considerable amount of time and he ONLY chooses to do things that interest him. Tim is one of the true pros on this site and most people here who do sig requests probably would not adulterate ANY of Tim's personal work in any fashion. My suggestion would be to ask for forgiveness for you ignorance (which is not intended as an insult) and maybe post some other images that you would like for a sig.

I can understand both sides of it, with Tim having put in the work and not wanting it edited and DS feeling that the sig his to do what he wishes with it. I guess I look at it as if I give someone something for a sig then it's potentially going to be edited and it's a risk I take.
As said, most any of us won't edit that for you out of respect for Tim asking that not to happen but we'd be more than happy to make you one that's comparable.

I don't think that the sig is "mine" or anything. I thought the standard practice was that if it's a generic sig that's been put out there then it's free for all to use. I like it a lot and would like one with an Islander logo as well. While I respect the time and skill that it takes to make these things, I don't quite think of it as the same kind of art that would hang in a gallery or one's home so I don't really see the big deal nor do I feel like it's owed as much since his original will still be out there. It's not like taking a Picaso off the wall and adding something to it.

That's what I meant. Not that you were necessarily claiming ownership of the image or the work or anything.
And it is. If there wasn't such a large objection from the guy who originally created it, I'd help you out.
