Man, I really want to learn how to do that kind of stuff. I haven't researched it enough yet though.

Go to the Fark Board and see the pinned threads at the top. That's how I started. Downloaded GIMP and just starting playing around with it. When I wanted to see how to do a certain effect I just Googled for videos (on YouTube mostly).
