Anyone have an outdoor kitchen made with landscaping stone

I am in the process of receiving quotes for my outdoor kitchen and I am considering using landscaping stones as shown in the pictures below. Does anyone have something similar? If so I'd like to see some pictures and feedback.

Agreed as I kind of like it. I think it looks better than the typical red brick you see all over the place. This looks more "Southern California" and more interesting to me.

Those are retaing wall blocks.Pavestone corp is one of the big producers of those and like others have said, it's a rather stale, bland, commercial strip center look and I say that as someone who has done work for pavestone developing their construction details for their pavers and retaining wall block. I much prefer natural stone.

i bet that pergola really keeps the rain and sunshine off that nice grill, but hey, at least the smoke and heat can pass through it.

Pergola's might be one of the stupidest inventions of all time. They are expensive, and serve no purpose.
