Brick mortar crack filler

I know of numerous options but would love feedback from someone that has done this and what you used

There are little cracks and there are big cracks.
Can you be more specific on what type of cracks and the reason the mortar is cracking?

A vertical separation line in mortar between bricks. I'm thinking it's simply a settling thing.

Post some pics and we can see mortar color. Best bet would be dig out mortar joint and repoint area. If it keeps settling the caulk if going to look too much like a patch job. You can repoint fairly quickly with a basic grinder and diamond blade.

Keep a close eye on that area, you could be experiencing some foundation sagging or failure. Post pics and one of the resident experts will opine, I am sure. Cracks bigger than 2 MM (5/64 inch) are very concerning. The recent heat wave could be causing smaller cracks though.
