I had Arrow spread a granule that moved them out of ny front yard into my side yard. ?? I then used the scissor trap and within 24 hrs killed all of them.

Victor Mole and Gopher Solar Powered Sonic Spike.

Stick it in your yard and watch all the mole tunnels move into your neighbors yards

I had them at my last house. Tried everything from poison, traps, and sticking a hose in the hole running water in it. Nothing worked. Ended up moving so it was the new owners problem.

They have now infiltrated my new yard and I am fighting them again.

Moles are actually territorial so it's like 1 or 2 at a time.

I've used these with huge success and it's fun as shite to see the trap has been triggered:

I've killed a half dozen or so with those scissor-like traps.

This is the way.

Just make sure it's a fresh tunnel and put it in correctly.

This thread is depressing. I have about 1.5 non wooded hillside acres and those freaking tunnels are everywhere.

Because my property backs to a thousand acres of woods I don't see how I can reasonably expect them to stop coming into my yard. They're in the beds, in the really nice turf areas and really just everywhere.

ETA I used to have a really good dog at getting the moles but he passed 7 years ago. He was relentless and sometimes I wondered if the mess he made getting to them was worth it.

If you get 4-5 of these traps and just walk the property looked for fresh tunnels, you'll continue to kill the things. Last year, I got home from a 10 day vacation and my previously immaculate yard looked like the military had dropped bombs trying to kill graboids. I also almost sprained my ankle a couple times walking my property and falling into tunnels that weren't apparent from the surface. The damage was insane.

I set these traps for a couple months and killed 10-12 of them. They are territorial and solitary so when you kill 1 a new one will move in, but you likely won't kill 2 in the same area at the same time unless they're mating.

ETA:

I'm in East Tennessee and when we had the huge cicada hatch with two broods, the moles had an all your can eat buffet. At least that's what my pest guy said. I had never seen it like that since or after.

I purchased an 8 pak of solar powered mole repellant spikes. Once I receive and install them I'll get back to you.
A friend at work told me as long as you ride a mower over the area at least evey 2 weeks or so they'll disappear. I guess the ground vibration effects them.
