Just curious, bought an early model for cheap, but the factory defect was that the wicks around the trunk gasket tended to clog and dump rain water into the spare-well and rear side panels, where such equipment as the convertible motor is positioned. Parking it on a back-sloping driveway didn't help.
After replacing two motors, sold it for scrape.
Other than that, great little car. Heavy. Handled great. Had some zip. Kept it (2) years so it wasn't a total loss.
Definitely keep it in the garage.

those e30s are going for insane prices now.
the m3 e30s..you could buy a new escalade cheaper.
don't get it. its an easy-to-work-on car and parts are not super expensive but damn, its just a 1980s mass-produced small car.
