Wanting to plant satsuma tree(s) in the spring at my home in Baldwin County, AL.
When is the best time in spring?
Do I need to plant two near each other for pollination?
Where is the best place to plant?
Is there is specific variety of satsuma that does best in Baldwin County, AL?
THANKS!

No - citrus are self pollinating

Not sure exactly what you are asking here, but full sun location if possible, ideally a southern exposure.

Depending where you are located in Baldwin county you appear to be at the same latitude as New Orleans/Baton Rouge, so most of the common satsuma cultivars should be fine - Owari, Brown Select, …. There is a relatively recent cultivar named Artic Frost that has better cold tolerance, but I don’t have one personally (I have Owari and Brown Select - BR). Satsumas are among the most cold tolerate citrus, only kumquats have better cold tolerance.
This manual will be helpful - Louisiana Home Citrus Production
