Can a wind mitigation report help reduce your homeowners insurance premium? How much do these reports cost?

Check with your insurance carrier. That's not something I've heard of when I went through when looking for discounts within my policy.

Should cost less than $150 unless you live in an extremely large home. In Florida, my wind mitigation inspection saved me over $800 per year and if I had hurricane rated doors and windows, the savings would be much more.
