Bay and most others have said that the intensity on that thing can't be trusted bc they can't really predict that
I think you are misquoting Bay. I believe he confirmed that this is an expected wind speed based on anticipated barometric pressure, which IS an intelligent estimate based upon the model's algorithms.

GFS is turning into a joke with these doomsday scenarios.

BR would be twice as worse as Gustav if that model came to fruition.

Some runs are predicting this thing to stall the frick out once it hits land and THEN moves straight west. I hope to God that isn't the case...

yeah I really miss the days when our pussy woman governor cried on national tv instead of sucking it up and making some executive decisions.

Goddamn I can't believe she was ever in a position of power.

I started getting nervous for BR when PJ told us they were all good.

Same rules apply for his sports predictions. I call it the Law Of Peej.

Should I sneak out of work right now? I am thinking about it. The boss is gone, I am done with my work, and no one would notice/care.

Why do y'all keep making this comment? Yes, the intensity forecast has been on the high side but the accuracy has been outstanding. Read about the GFS and it's record with intensity, it's not so good. It's best at predicting a hurricanes path.
