The mess we have is of our own making. Our freedoms come with freedom to frick up and allow all kinds of shite that has zero benefit to our country. Loopholes in law. Rights that maybe shouldn't be in there. What would say to them if asked, "what would you change in the US constitution that would have avoided "fill-in-the-blank" issues later because it was exploited in a bad way?"
