Water is probably knee to waist deep around the folks house, all cars have been moved to higher grounds in covington.

Power finally went out in abita by 59 & dogpound.
Probably 20 / 30 steady wind with gusts to 40s.

Slept like a baby last night in 65 degree house. Power never went out and is still kicking here in Beau Chene

I'm in Bedico Trace, directly across 22 from him. We still have power (underground utilities)but wind picks up then slacks off. Not much water on the ground and drainage ditches seem to be doing good.

I live in Lafayette and don't know a lot about the Northshore, but is the water rainwater or water being pushed out of the Lake?
