We should. Have extremely limited depth, most projected starters this year are upper classmen. So we will be left with no depth and no experience after this year. Need to get bodies in the building and let the cream rise to the top.

No doubt on needing to rebuild the defensive backfield, but 9 freshman on top of the 3 we brought in last year is a very young secondary.
Probably still would need transfers to give us some experienced guys back there until the "kids" grow up. Or we risk some serious growing pains early in '23.
That said - If we pull off those 9 guys, I'll be pumped. It'd be a huge coup and f**k you to Jimbo and those clowns in College Station.

Not likely. I can see us taking a big number, but 9 is a lot of freshmen. I could be wrong, but it’s hard to convince that many good players to come in together at the same position. A$M did it last year along the DL, but that was a money grab.
