My gut feeling is that this plays out like the other LA bama commits.
Bama lean, feign late interest in LSU to get attention (from recruiters and fans), then commit Bama. I really hope I'm wrong on this one, but this story has played out the exact same way with several different Louisiana kids that end up at Bama.

Just assume Mathis and Smith to Bama. Chaisson to Texas. Bryant and Taylor to AU. Wilson to FSU. Harris to Bama.

I don't think that's the case at all. Now smith, that's another story. I think Mathis comes here despite today's doom and gloom. But we will see .

I think he will go to Bama but I don't think he is trying to get attention like others. It seems like it is a hard decision to make for him, it's a lot of pressure for a 17/18 year old. I am so tired of Bama taking all the LA recruits. I'm ready for it to start turning around. I thought we had finally turned the corner with Fournette and that class. It didn't happen. I'm hoping LSU will become a program LA kids can take more seriously, and be proud to stay home!!!
