Exactly. 2 is only good enough number in a perfect world. Where everyone pans out and nobody ever gets hurt. Neither of which will ever happen.

Urban Meyer loves Stud. Offered him a job at OSU awhile back. Was kinda hoping he would take it. LSU needs a change of scenery there and so does Stud. Never been a fan of him. The results speak for itself. His tenure here has been below par when you consider all the great OL that have come through here. How many lineman has he sent to the NFL? 1? I can only think of Barksdale.

I'm more interested in lineman now than skill guys. Gotta beef up both our lines. All starts there.

Are we sure that Studrawa's offer by Meyer was committable? I like you have never been a fan of Studrawa...too many guys leaving the program in his unit...too many guys not even getting drafted who were OL, etc. And of course, I don't know of anyone who thought he was qualified to be OC (Bowling Green OC once doesn't cut it). When you are 85th in the nation 3 years in a row on offense, yes QB and playcalling is a lot of the problem but so is the OL. Anyway, LSU needs to get at least one more quality OL. I like Brumfield and Clapp but 2 isn't enough. I believe LSU only signed 4 last year and 1 was a JUCO which means shortened career years wise.

Notebook: Sharpe sets decision date

by Zach Abolverdi

This week could yield Florida’s second commitment in the month of November.

Jacksonville Providence offensive tackle David Sharpe will announce his college choice Thursday at his high school. His finalists are Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and LSU.

The Bulldogs had been his presumed leader throughout the fall, but the UGA coaches have ignored his calls for weeks and reportedly don’t have room for him.

He has yet to visit LSU, and Clemson appears unlikely to land his commitment. That leaves either Florida or Tennessee, the only school to receive an official visit from him so far.

Sharpe has visited UF more than anywhere else, with his most recent trip being to the Arkansas game. Given his familiarity with the football program, his proximity to home and his family full of Florida fans, Sharpe is expected to pick the Gators.

Must feel good to be able to ignore the calls of a 5* recruit who plays the 2nd most important position on a football team.

Because he isn't totally dedicated to football. He wants to be "I'm not a football player, I'm a Basketball Player/Football Player"
