I don’t follow them enough to know. Just that he wasn’t abruptly moved from guard

Thanks!
Seems Lane's offense doesn't have to have studs across the line to get great results.

So their grades were similar to ours but they had a 1,500 yard rusher and put up 40 points per game? Is it all scheme?
Their grades were definitely better overall than ours. Not by a huge amount, but they had an elite back in Lacy too. They didnt have a Chester, Davis, Mubenga type bad player that we had. Their worst starting OL is right close to average, not a 47.1 overall, 49.0 overall low 50s like those 3 were. Davis certainly figured out pass blocking at least end of this season.
run block grades arent great for most Olinemen as my out of 113 SEC linemen this year only 15% of them received a "good" grade or better. Spread shotgun offenses with linemen in 2 point stances doesnt produce quite the blocking prowess overall as linemen in 3 point stances I-formation days

I've said this a few times, just get serviceable enough guys and his offense is great still. He's had very good offenses every year at OM and had 1 draft pick the last 5 drafts (including this on coming up with no projected OL picks) on the OL and he was a 7th rounder.
We have more OL talent here, typically. I mean we had 4 draft picks off 1 OL recently. I think we will be fine, but I'm still skeptical of what we have on the OL at this moment, they will add a few more guys bare minimum but I do think we still need at least 1 more bonafide good starter at T and potentially 1 more interior guy you feel really good about and isnt just a depth type piece.
