Reed = Fobbs, IMO. I don't think Reed is as good as everyone else here thinks. Good, solid, maybe. Great? Will never happen.
Sounds like you are just trying to put a rosy spin on the way things turned out.

Remind me again when Starr Jackson became a good QB.
Greg McElroy, A.J. McCarron, and Phillip Sims.

LSU doesn't play small recievers anyways fwiw
Jarvis Landry is 5 ft 11 178 according to Rivals.
Odell Beckham Jr is 5 ft 10 170 according to Rivals.
Bradley Sylve is 5f ft 11 175 according to Rivals.

every team wants to keep the best at home first, Sylve is one of the best in LA. No one's saying anything ab OOS kids
I don't doubt that at all. But to call it a "trend." I just disagree with that. Bell? Benton? So Reed went to Auburn under different circumstances.
I just disagree with the assessment.

Tell me what stands out about Sylve other than his speed?
I never thought Reed was great either... and wouldn't have felt any differently if he signed with LSU.

That's what I was saying. Dude is complaining about instate guys leaving, but when they do, LSU just lands out of state guys that are just as good or better.

We'll see. Like I've said since his recruitment started. He may be decent, but first team All-SEC? I just don't think it'll happen.

fwiw, I don't think Kenny Bell will finish his career at Alabama. He'll transfer back somewhere to La and play at a I-AA school. Never thought he was a big loss.
He's in the rotation at WR. He's only a redshirt freshman, with several junior and seniors that will be leaving in the near future.

It is a trend. In each of the last three years, we have lost at least one highly touted WR recruit to a school from Alabama.
There are now FOUR players that fit this bill. FOUR.
It's a trend.

i realize that, but from watching some of his video, he is pretty straight line.
nothing like Jarvis Landry or even Trevon Reed. Just doesnt look like he has a natural feel @ WR. More like a Trindon Holliday type player too me at best.
he would have been nice to have, just on upside alone and the fact that he is from LA, but im really not sweating it. If it were somewhere other than Bama i dont think people would be so worried about it

Good stance. LSU will end up with a WR that is just as good or better, IMO.

With Crutchfield out, Sylve probably transfers to a Bama high school

Whats he done again besides having a high star ranking?

losing three LA guys you wanted, would now be 4, in consecutive years at the same pos. can be called a trend
