Triplett is a way better version of RS in my opinion. There would be no learning curve or transition period to WR for him. He will be almost the exact same size RS went into LSU at and he'll gain 10-15 through Mofitt. He's kind of a mixture of Trindon and RS. Has excellent hands and is very fast. Fast as trindon? no. As athletic as RS? prolly not but I don't think its very far. I could definitely see him playing slot for LSU but I could most definitely see him starting for Oregon day 1.
Triplett is a game time decision for tonight for those who were asking earlier this week. He just started running without pads on Wednesday so even if he does go I wouldn't imagine he'll be himself. With it not being a district game if I had to put my money on it he'll dress but I highly doubt he plays much if any at all. I definitely can't see them lining him up at rb this game. Maybe some snaps in the slot and maybe KR and PR. Sorry I can't be more of help with this but thats all i know.

One thing about RS's highlight tape. Someone go watch that tape and please tell me he couldn't have done, at the bare minimum, just as good of a job as JJ did this past 3 years at QB. He had accuracy in HS and couldn't have been any worse than JJ and definitely a better scrambler

sounds like you really like him

Really. He's got offers from who?

Final score Central 31-23. Sloppy game in my opinion. Both teams made a lot of mistakes. Refs blew a few calls both ways.
Courville - 14-18 for 250+ yds. 2 of his 4 misses were with a wide receiver 20 yds from the nearest defender
Triplett - had his worst game of the season. 130 yds and no td's. Had 2 td's but both got called back on penalties
Juneau - Not sure on yds but had a 40-50 yd td run
Gales - 29 yds and a td. He was the receiver that Courville over threw on the 2 wide open misses
Jake Myer - not sure on yardage either but the kid is a playmaker. Made some huge plays when they needed them. He lays the lumber on anything that gets in his way when carrying the ball
Catholic
Coomes - 104 yds no td's
That sophomore rb had a td and looked very good. The other rb looked very good as well and I think he was the one with a kickoff return

I was only there for about a half, but #3 Khalil Thomas, the senior, fumbled a KO return, then picked it up and raped the return team for a TD. Didn't see much of Darrius (#20, Sophomore) but he's going to be a fricking monster.

Yea Thomas had the return and he also had a good game rushing. From what I hear he's getting D1 offers but I don't know enough about him to know if thats true or not. Darrius had a TD for sure, it was from about 25 yds out. His combo of power and speed stuck out. Someone said it in a post earlier this week, he refuses to go down. You better bring more than one when you step to his door haha

He is. I still have cousins that go to CHS and all claim that he is getting offers from some small to mid-level D1 schools.

Most people who havent been involved with the recruiting process (especially at Central) think that Letters = Scholarship offer. And theres always letters hanging around in the lockerroom
Im not saying he hasnt got any offers, but people at Central would always say that whenever they saw a letter from a big school which every guy that has measurables gets. Every year there was a rumor that two or three guys on our team got an LSU offer, and it was of course bullshite
ETA except Josh Johns. We got that one right

I know im a little late with this but hes gotten offers from Ole miss to be a 2 sport athlete (Tack Star).....Guice is the better back but CW love his seniors

I didn't know about Ole Miss, but I believe it. I know he's gotten offered by every in-state school but LSU and possible Miss St or Auburn? Not sure if those are committable or not, though.

Thanks for an evaluation of Catholic's entire offensive roster. Again this is the LSU Recruiting Board. Which players are LSU recruits at this point from Central/Catholic? If they are in the Class of 2013 and don't have an offer then that doesn't bode well for an LSU scholarship offer. I can see Guice likely being on LSU's radar down the road from what I am hearing. I look forward to seeing him play. I will say this as nice as I can but some schools fudge on height and weight so it's hard to know which sizes are legit. Les likes his running backs pretty big (around 220lbs plus) so this may or may not be an issue down the road. Maybe Triplette is a player like Trindon who can play at a smaller size for LSU? We will see. Can't wait to see him play as well. Sounds like a great player.
