although I know next year will be a stronger year in state, I'm hoping Trent is able to sign at least 1 more player this year, preferably a big man. We are going to be so thin next year and I would hate to lose the momentum we are building up.

Agreed, I think that is the concensus around here as well. Even if they have to go the JUCO route, having a big body to crash the boards would be huge.

Even having a Q. Thornton would be huge, just to have some size. I wish Brady would have redshirted him as he should have, coming off that injury.

2 Seven footers in small MS town

they probably aren't that great, judging by their offers, but they would add size.

We played Zeno his senior year in highschool. The guy didn't miss until like the third quarter. Tasmin Mitchell was guarding him from the second quarter until the end. it was some of the best shooting I ever witnessed in a high school basketball game. It seemed like he was shooting from three feet beyond the three point line.

Yea he killed Taz that game...but Taz did have like 16 in the 1st quarter until they put Zeno on him. Thats the type of player he was, when he played the best players he was at his best. Got jobbed his Sr year against DJ and Brother Martin.

Shredded Kansas a few times at Texas Tech, he was special. But back to the matter at hand, Chip is no Zeno...I don't think he has the drive that Zeno had, Martin was a gamer and absolutely locked people down on defense.

You have got to be kidding. He is no where close to be an SEC caliber player. LSU needs some studs with size to contend nationally.
