This. Promise him the opportunity to start. Promising him the starting spot without him having to earn it is bad news. He may be better than any MLB on the roster but make him prove it.

If he wants to play for a NC in front of great fans in a great stadium then LSU can provide him with that experience. If he wants to help build a smaller program for future years then he can have that experience at Ole Miss. I see nothing wrong with that. Now if he's as good as everyone thinks he is then playing at a top program on TV every weekend will serve his NFL aspirations better.

It's 2011 not 1955. Ole Miss will be on TV plenty of times, and NFL scouts don't just watch tv tofind prospects. If he has NFL talent they will find him regardless of which SEC school he goes to

In case yall were wondering, neither Ole Miss site is reporting he will not take his LSU visit. Nutt is taking his in home with CJ tomorrow and everyone will probably know either then or Wed weather he is going to visit or not. Just my .02 on the situation.
