I could have sworn that he's from Louisiana. He signed with Southeastern and then transferred to JUCO or something
Advocate article stated he spent a year at SLU, but no indication he played or was even on the team. May have been an academic resdshirt. Apparently he has two years of eligibility left.

Does it matter? The star ranking is heavily overrated. In some instances it is good, but look at all the players Duke and all the other top 25 year in/year out schools get and end up a bust. If you can play, you can play. Stars are meaningless.

Very well said my man.... 3,4,5, Stars means 0%
But keep in mind there are more 3 Stars players in the NBA Then 5 Stars... Just a note

there are more 3 star players than 5 stars to begin with
so its not that difficult

And there are just as many 1 to no stars in the NBA as well. So it just all validates my point that the stars do NOT matter.

no they dont
but its stupid to say that there are more 3 stars than 5 stars.
there are more than two times the amount of 3 stars than 5 stars each year

Why do stars mean so much in football to us but not in basketball? Oh, I know... it's because we can't get anything over a three star in basketball anymore, so "stars don't matter".

Because in football they rank alot more players then in basketball and are often more accurate then the basketball rankings

Right On Target!!
In Football you have to run the 40 yards Beach Press 230 LBS AND STUFF LIKE THAT JUST TO GET A FEW STARS!! IN BASKETBALL YOU DON'T ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT THE DAMM BALL IN THE HOLE!!
DO YOU GET IT NOW???

This was funny by itself, but even funnier is the argument it started.

What is funny about that is that most of John Brady's recruits couldn't even do that unless it was a dunk or layup

Funny, those guys were one of only two SEC programs to have Final Four experience the past ten seasons.
They also went to a Sweet 16, won two SEC titles and 3 SEC West crowns in a 7 year period. Not bad for a group with such limitations.
