find out that there are 20 year olds on that team. I've even heard rumors of steriod use; but im not sure if those are true. Besides Newman
Dude, Curtis does not have twenty-year old students. They have a great coach, teach the same system for years and always have 6-8 players that are as good as the best player Newman has. I used to think like you until I actually met the Curtis family.

And even further. But, if a kid is held back now it is because of academic issues. When I was in High School Curtis was an academic joke. Now it is not. It actually is a pretty good school. I remember when Newman played Curtis my senior year and Greg Dubroc looked like he was 25. That is no longer the case.

Step back and understand that you are wrong. I am a Newman alum, and back in the day Curtis probably did hold people back for football. It does not occur now and hasn't for atleast a decade.

there are kids a grade behind me at Curtis that are older than me
they started later, what is so hard to understand?
as long as they meet the age limit as seniors they can really do whatever they want as parents

Curtis vs Newman
ok maybe they havent been doing it in the past
They definately did do it in the past. Now, the only reason is for a legitimate academic issue. Curtis is actually a decent school. Is it Franklin, Newman, Jesuit, Brother Martin, Rummel or Lusher? No, but it is a legitimate school.

meh. I left after 9th grade and went to public school that was much more challenging and prepatory for college.

You went to Mandeville right? Probably the best non-charter or test guaranteed school in the state.

Fontainebleau. At Curtis, the work was just too easy and the atmosphere was too lax IMO.
