Exactly. That's the same year we only signed one backer in Devin White. That dude was just waiting on his offer. Watching his film, you could tell he was for real.

I assume you mean only 1 ILB but Fowler basically flipped on NSD. Thornton and Divinity were in that class. Malcolm Roach was too, I thought he would sneak into the LSU class at the last minute.

I talked to the young man. He will take it down. He is all LSU. He is locked in and having fun. I will get to talk to him again after the Higgins/Ehret game..

He's recruiting really well for Arkansas standards though. The 2019 class should be the best in 10 years. The overall rank last year wasn't great since we only signed 16 players but Joe Foucha and Myles Mason were the highest rated pair of safeties we've signed since recruiting rankings started.
Not exactly a high bar he's having to follow considering how bad the defense has been the last few years.

It's really pretty amazing how many "misses" have turned out to be duds.

We remember the melts from here, and then you go back and look and we melted for nothing. For every Tim Williams (eventual starter, Bama) there is at least one Toshirio Davis (insignificant) and one Gerald Willis (would not be on team).
Now I can't attest to the 2:1 ratio, but it sure seems that way.
