re: Is this what 11:59 means?

From conversations in other threads, it seems like he has until 11:59 to declare. Then Ole Miss has 48 hours to place his name in the portal. But yeah, I don’t think we’ll see home in an LSU jersey unfortunately.
That defensive performance against Bryce Young and Bama was a thing of beauty. Not sure if that was Baker’s doing, but I’ll give Daronte credit there. That defense ended up pretty salty as the season wore on.
I actually think he pulls in one more, myself. Having four scholarship QBs on the roster isn’t overkill.
That’s a good question as well. Does the intent to enter count, or is it when the school puts you in the portal? I’ll just bet that this plan gets spoiled. I gotta protect myself.
Are you guys coping? When he re-signs with Ole Miss it’ll be a good move, like the Demond Williams situation.

How do we feel about Ethan Fields from Geismar?
She’s definitely still wearing makeup right there.
I mean…this is the biggest surprise commit we’ve gotten in a long time from bringing in a coach. This bodes well for us moving away from being 2nd Place U.
Jackson did contribute toward the end of the year and looked good.
He looks like Jamal Adams in Eric Reid’s body.
I will say we’ve been pretty spoiled in terms of kickers. I’ll be happy to move on as well, though.

I mean…do you have any memory outside of this year? I am happy Brian Kelly is gone, but he engineered an absolutely lethal offense in 2023 and produced our third Heisman trophy winner.

A lot of people on here are acting like Brian Kelly fit the mold of a failure from the start and he didn’t. I know we all want to have the smoking gun here that explains the fickleness of this sport, but we don’t.

I think part of the problem was the O line which has led to problems with the run game. That being said, teams started realizing that you could use 3 & 4 man rushes and break through the line and drop 7 or 8 in coverage. So now Nussmeier is seeing too many of "them" as opposed to us. Sure our guys are getting open downfield, but it is now taking longer to find the seems and gaps, and with his line being so weak he stats doble guessing. To counteract that, he's relying on short passes and screens.....only problem is, that is what the defense wants

KiwiHead his the nail on the ole kiwi head here. I think Nuss is just a really easy guy to gameplan against now that his OLine is hot garbage. Even when he does have a clean pocket, he’s throwing at 7-8 defenders.
You guys really don’t think outside of the echo chamber, do you? Like…you think Brian Kelly and Jimbo Fisher were the “worst” hires of what? All-time? The past ten years?

Hires aren’t made knowing what the results will be. If Jimbo didn’t take the A&M job, guess what, he would have been hired at LSU. Brian Kelly was an awesome hire, on paper. He was 26-3 in his last three seasons at Notre Dame. I mean…how could you think he was complacent? But, it happened.

Scott is the devil we know, and he’s made some good hires. I don’t get the widespread hate. Alleva? I got it. He was a fricking moron. Woodward at least makes hires that make sense.
Here’s an interesting thing…I feel like we’ve been calling for outside runs and screen passes for years now. Like honestly, back in the late Miles days.

I feel like we’ve never done that, actually. I wonder why.
