He is incredible. He played Catholic NI in the playoffs as a freshman and although they got drubbed, he was the best looking player on the field. CHSNI went away from him at all times, but he snagged a shitty punt and went untouched for what may have been the only TD of the game for Dunham.

What's the reason he isn't a 5 star?
I believe I read it had a lot to do with him taking the season off prior, he also wasn't always utilized at IMG this past season.
They all say he has the measurables of an elite 5 star receiver, like a Dez Bryant, Julio Jones..
This guy can absolutely take over a game. He's big and fast.
I am so glad he chose LSU, very exciting

Does he have any visits left?

I've been saying ever since I saw his tape years back, that he is a freak athlete. It's the first thing that caught my eye. Julio Jones level athlete.
6'4 220, can jump out the gym, has anywhere from 4.35-4.45 speed, and can lay a mean block.
I have a feeling that he can get on the field early. Whether it be special teams or WR, or both.

National media only rewards Bama recruits with 5 stars.
Can we calm down with this?

He's a 6'4" Odell, for real.

His hands aren't like that. He's Julio Jones part two, stone hands and all. Good news is he's gonna be so big, strong, and fast that it won't matter too much how good his hands are

That kid could legit turn pro in any sport he wants.

Pretty wild. The athletes that go through LSU every year is insane

I still feel like top to bottom this is the most athletic class we've ever signed so far

Odell's hand weren't great until his Junior season. Clayton and D. Bowe come to mind when I see this kid.

Good athlete
Grades are a REAL concern

He'll be an excellent addition to our scheme. Lots of blocking wide receivers who run fly routes are needed.

Dude was doing 56" box jumps at traction 2 or 3 years back

I can see that comparison. Michael Clayton could fly...I ran against him in high school and I had never seen a big guy cover so much ground. If Drake is faster then we are about to see something special.

He was returning kickoffs at the All-Amercican game. I was impressed.

Drake is the definition of the word athlete. He's a little bit raw in terms or route running, pure hands and the nuances of being a WR, but that's the kind of stuff that can be taught.
You can't teach his rare size, speed and athleticism. It is off the charts. He considered going pro in soccer, which i have no doubts he would have succeeded. Also a stud basketball player.
Forget stars, LSU got a straight gamechanger.

Aside from Drake's freakish athletic ability, the thing that is the most impressive about him, is that he loves to hit people as evidence by him going at people bigtime with his blocks.
That kind of toughness is very much needed in our WR corp. Its pretty awesome, we keep getting blue chip receivers who have so much talent, they beat our the previous years blue chip receiver recruits.
In order to remain as competitive as possible, its the way things have to be. If it results in the transfer of a couple receivers who get pushed out by the incoming freshmen receivers, then we know for sure we have the best guys out there on the field.

He's a better athlete than Clayton and Clayton was a nasty good athlete. He's not as mean as Clayton, but between Davis and Coxie, we have two pretty comparable wrs to him.
