I think B+ is probably pretty close to correct but I meant that he didn't say where the class fell short. Things we missed on, questionable prospects signed. He spends his whole paragraph talking up our class pretty much.

LSU has a consensus top 10 class and he grades them a B+.

We finished lower than we all wanted to finish because of the numbers in this class. We had the lowest number of signings in the ESPN Top 10 with only 21. Several of those schools had 8, 9 or 10 more players than we did. We got quality across the board, but we didn't get our typical quantity because of our numbers limitations. With the players we have who are young and are already contributing, I wouldn't worry so much about this.

And don't forget they are not counting Hill and D'haquille Williams who may both end up at LSU and are both 4-stars.

I always thought Bobby Bowden got it right when he said he could care less what star value is assigned to a recruit. He asked how many of these recruiting services are run by former coaches who actually know how to evaluate a recruit?

We hit on all things we needed with some big name guys....what in the world would give us an A?

it doesn't matter. he is in a position to give the grades. he is not qualified nor is he objective. but, he gets to give 'em. they mean nothing. the recruiting hype is getting so over the top.
