I agree we need trench guys.

But to say we don’t need another running back is ludicrous. I’m happy with the 2 receivers we signed.

But with the 6 spots remaining we need another running back. Spend the other 5 spots on the next best availble and trench guys.

This kid has PAC man Jones written all over him. Does he have mental problems or something? It's always something with him it seems.

He's a really good back, but damn, you have to start wondering if he is going to become a cancer to your team if he is a part of it at some point. Seems like he would be the type that would be very divisive and cause locker room drama on any team he's on...especially if things aren't going HIS way. That's all he seems to care about is himself and long what he wants when he wants and how he wants...screw everybody else as long as he does what he feels like doing. That is not a good quality to have it you play a TEAM sport.

Nope. We are fine if all stay. If one transfers then obviously not.

Three is too thin for a season of SEC play. Plus, it puts an incredible amount of pressure to hit it out of the park recruiting RB next year.

We aren't that deep in other kep positions of need.

I'd rather have the DL and OL depth. We also need safeties and more CBs.

So you're saying you want Evans on the LSU roster?

I'm saying if I could get Evans, Rak, and Burton tomorrow, even with everything that happened, I'd gladly take them.

It's not as big a necessity as other positions of need. Spin that however you choose.

Neither is WR.

We aren't hurting for skill guys.

Not sure, but I will take Ashaad and Van Pran and be just as happy with that haul than Evans alone.

I don't want me types in our team. We have seen through the years what those types have brought with them.

Perrilloux being the icing on the cake.

You’re simply wrong, Roger.

Would you rather have a big OL/DL recruit or a running back right now?

I’d rather we not go into the offseason with only 3 RBs, 2 of whom could barely get on the field this year and could potentially transfer. No OL or DL left are going to potentially have as much effect on the 2020 season as another RB could. It we have 6 spots, we don’t have to choose.

And I don’t want Evans either. But we’ve got to have somebody there.

I am not going to come bash this kid, but the shite I have heard last 3 weeks tell me.

He is for sale.
He has sense of entitlement.
He is not a team player.
He is very high risk pick.

My sense from my experience is this kid will most likely wash out, or get injured from not being prepared and inshape, or in best case scenario have one good season and jump.

Talent alone doesn’t mean shite, and doesn’t win championships.

To me, Gibbs was always the much better and safer choice. Also the one that Saban preferred if that means anything

People too damn quick to deal out judgement without knowing details. Could be that the kid's just a jackass prima dona. Could be that he made a mistake.

Far too many of these incidents at this point to just ignore as young and dumb. Just calling it as I see it. I would love to see the kid get straight and not waste all that talent. The ones who do see the light and get straight are few and far between.

I'd rather have three good backs and a solid depth in the trenches myself

Sign another back and we will lose one of our current ones anyway.

If we can get one as good as Davis-Price or Emory, cool. But to pick one up just for depth, nah.

A mistake he’s supposedly made more than once?

Trying to fight your coaches screams headcase.

Kid seems like a crazy jackass.

None of us were there, so none of us should be passing judgement. Players like Evans have been coddled and enabled by the adults since they were 8 years old. Its not surprising when some become a bit full of themselves. With the right coach and locker room this kid is a future All American and only a fool would say do not want.

Do we have 3 good ones? 2 couldn’t get on the field at the position that’s usually the easiest to get on the field as a FR at.

solid depth in the trenches myself

Nobody left is providing solid depth in the trenches for 2020. It takes longer to be SEC ready there. But again? Why choose? It’s not either/or. We have 6 spots left.

How many LSU teams have gone into a season with only 3 scholarship RBs? It may have happened a handful of times, but not by design. 3 is very, very thin at RB in the SEC.

Point is, we have more than 1 or two spots to fill.

We need an RB in this class, along with more trench guys and a safety. We can get all that still.

Without Evans

Pretty sure it doesn’t work like that anymore. Correct me if I’m wrong tho.
You can carry over spots under the 25 to the next year.
