to comment on the thread's subject title... that is hilariously stupid. maybe we'll have a real trophy to cherish soon enough.
commenting on what the only bama fan in here has mentioned... logically, it's much easier for one person to put bias on a report and cover it up than it is for a collective body of people to do the same thing right?
more importantly, as mentioned before, ONE person is ONE opinion. a LOT of opinions, is a much better average of the truth. besides, there are ENTIRELY too many factors, say for example injury, that will get in the way of seeing for sure whose IS the better class. this is why ALL people that are involved with recruiting all absolutely agree that a #5 recruiting class is virtually the same thing as a #1 class etc etc.
LET'S be big boys and grow past the NSD and all its' "glory"
and again... truly retarded that there are actually shirts or what have you claiming our "NSD" victory.... *gag*

So does that make it 15 National Championships?

They should make another set of gear to celebrate their bumper crop of outgoing juniors they will be kicking off the team in the next few weeks.
...that would be SWEET!

Actually a Bama comment that makes sense. I agree with this. Top 10 is basicly identical in talent. Meeting needs is very important. We needed QBs in the last 2 years so bad it hurt. We addressed that need in the last 2 years.

Lugenbill said on the Finescum show that ESPN factors in players that won't make it into school..........like Lacy, Sentimore, etc. That's why, he said, Bama shouldn't be #1.
He told Finescum........You remember last year we didn't rank Bama #1 for the same reason. And what happened, at least 4 players never made it to school.
I was right last year, "Wasn't I Paul?" Yes you were said Finescum........and you could tell it was killing Finescum to say that with all the Gumps listening. And I'm right again this year Lugenbill said.

Not that recruiting ranking are important
The only thing that matters is LOSING to Utah, right?

ESPN uses Tom Lungbill and only Tom Lungbill for their rankings.
pretty sure ESPN uses Todd McShay as well as others for their rankings/talent evals, so...

one of the worst feelings, for a true die-hard college football fan, is loosing your first game of the year. and, i can assure you, that bama will lose to v.t. and that will be 3 in a row for saban. can't wait.

They will have to make room for all those RNC banners and trophies.

ESPN will soon be the big dog in these services
they already have their own AA game, and with the TV to control everything.. Rivals and Scout will looking up at them soon enough
ESPN has only been doing this for about 4 years or so

Still waiting for Bama and Saban to when some kind of championship or even a major bowl. Big fat zero. Celebrate that!

Illiteracy is a terrible thing. Stop posting and go back to class until you learn something. You're embarrassing LSU.

Who really has the best class will be settled in 3 years when the players are actually playing. Until then, the recruiting rankings are just a way to pass time until the start of football season.
Exactly how many of those 27 signees will actually qualify or make past their freshman year? Saban did sign some questionable players.

Don't act like you haven't ordered your T-shirt already Gump.
Another thing, you and all your Gump friends know that you would trade your class of 50 for our class of 24 in a heartbeat.

Anybody remember Max Emfinger? Didn't think so. He used to be one of the top recruiting services in the country. Rivals is pretty much like him in that he was out of Covington and every year, no matter what, he had LSU's class ranked #1 or #2. Even in Curley's day. Rivals is Bama based and run by Bama folks, if what I read on here is true.
Don't hear anything about ol' Max anymore and we soon won't be hearing about Rivals anymore either.

Being an inbred Gump is a terrible thing. Stop posting and go bow to your idol of Saban. Maybe you will eventually realize he isnt God after all... You're embarrassing humanity.

If you guys want to claim that Tom Lemming and Tom Lungbill are the be all and end all of recruiting rankings, so be it. Like I said, it does not really matter until they take the field, but proclaiming that those two are MAJOR recruiting services is a joke.
I think Lemming probably has as much experience in terms of total years as the entire Rivals staff!
