Don't mind then visiting Georgia at all. It's only July and the dead period just ended so of course they're going to squeeze visits in before their respective Senior years start. I'm not worried about losing either but if I were to choose which is more likely to flirt with Georgia, it'd be Emery but I'm pretty confident we get both

Well, we know it's either the current LSU commit or the one who reportedly plans to commit to LSU soon so easy to see why they're so confident

Both RB will be in Athens this weekend. Davis would be a hard pull but this is his own words.

“I talk to coach McGee every day,” Davis said. “I was just on Facetime with him before I came out here to the Opening. He’s a great guy and I really connect with him. I really like talking to him. Georgia also has a great offensive line, too. That’s another good thing about Georgia.”

Davis also acknowledged that he will give the Bulldogs an official visit this fall.

Is there any school out there that can flip him from the Tigers?

“If there is a school it is Georgia” Davis said.

He has been quoted more than once on that, I think he sticks with LSU but never say never in recruiting.

As for Emery, entire family is coming this weekend. I liked UGA’s chances going against MSU, not near as confident with LSU with his roots there, he just seems like a LSU back. Almost the same for Davis, he seems like the bruiser type but with speed.

Laguna isn’t an insider but anyone can see that UGA leads for Dean, but that one will go the distance.

John Emery girlfriend goes to school at Southern Miss in Hattiesburg. Unless he plans a hell of a commute he isn't going to be able to see his GF too much if he is in Athens. That is why Miss St, was getting a lot of play besides his dad. His mom and rest of his family want him at LSU, his dad finally is seeing the light.

As far as Ty Davis. I think he is just enjoying the process. As long as we have Kardell in his ear and he keeps coming to LSU for practices and stuff not too worried.

He's been saying that for everyone or great things about everyone he visits. Maybe not those specific words but positive.

Davis comes to LSU even when he doesn't need to just to visit with the players and staff. He's been doing this for a while now. He's simply enjoying the visits and has also said that multiple times. Davis is a Tiger and always has been. It would be like taking a guys dream and convincing him that his dream had been wrong this whole time. Just sayn

Lol Emery isn't going over there and Davis damn sure isn't.

UGA has a plethora of high caliber backs, and only one of them can actually declare for the draft (he's also 3rd at best on the depth chart). Which means when he comes in he'll be behind no less than 4 high caliber backs. Guys that ranked 6th or better at the position coming out, 2 being 5 star. He gets snaps year one at LSU.

Let's not forget 3 weeks ago we were talking about Emery being "the guy" at his college choice. And that meant no LSU. If that meant no LSU, that means no way in frozen or hot hell for UGA.

By the way... where did all that crazy talk go anyway?

Lagunadawg is absolutely not an insider

He's hilarious because he's a massive homer and is convinced that Kirby is the next Bear Bryant but he doesn't reflect how most UGA fans think.

To be completely fair to us, it pretty much felt like we got everyone last year

Overall, I'd probably give us a 30-40% chance with Dean.
10-15 % with Emery.
<1% with Davis.

Kirby is on a tear but Davis is absolutely an LSU lock. He is that prototypical LSU back that is 230lbs 4.5 to 4.6 40 that pounds people into oblivion. He’s a La kid literally in our backyard. Wouldn’t be right to see him anywhere but p&g. However Emery isn’t a done deal yet but I don’t think he ends up that far From home. If anyone can pull him it’s UGA. I heard State almost got him but for whatever reason he backed off hence the LSU crystal ball flurry. Emery is a can’t miss prospect. If LSU wants to contend again they have to land prospects like Emery. 5* day one starters. Some say Davis is just as good though. LSU is lucky because if Emery does end up at Uga or state Enter Noah Cain who backs up Sanders at IMG. Crazy how IMG has a better backfield than half the Sec. lol. I think we get Emery and Davis so UGa should go hard after Cain.

I lived there and would go visit family there. They were so hurt for 03 and 07.

He very may well, but this time last year I thought there was no way we flip Jamarr Chase either FWIW.
