I said his build not his playing style. He obviously has time to put on the lbs. Having a tough time getting his new hudl film to work....really want to see him in action

Good visit. Glad they came to see him at school today. Geaux Tigers.

C'mon O... pull the trigger! Get this done!

I don’t blame the coaches if they want to wait and see him throw in person this Spring. I imagine that offer is coming in due time.

It's been exciting to watch this all unfold and progress, Coach. Wishing QB4 nothing but the best.

Yeah, I know... But I feel good about Quad.

Pisses me off. Why wait with the QB issues we’ve had in the past. This kid is going to be a star. If I can see it I know they can ,well ,one of em can. Maybe O can’t. They are gonna let this kid slip through their fingers and there we will be once again. Dumbasses I tell ya.

They already have 3 offers out to elite 2019 QB prospects. Like I said earlier in the thread, not to come across rude just giving my opinion, they're chasing bigger fish right now. My opinion is they want to see more from Quad, and he's more of a fall back plan.

They need two QBs next year if they don't get Foster.

I think they have a few no-brainer guys they would take like Gunnell. The rest they probably will bring to camp and watch them throw.

Have you watched Quads film?

Why is this kid not on 247?
Posted on 1/24/18 at 4:29 pm to Ltown_tiger
I have, and he's impressive. After following this thread I hope he gets an offer and is a Tiger, it's a great story.
With that said though, LSU does seem to have their priorities in order. Like someone said below, maybe LSU takes two QB's next year, but I don't see that happening and there is already talk of them selling Gunnell on being "the guy." I like Quad, but he's not Grant Gunnell.

Not sure why he’s not on 247. Sonny Shipp reaches out to me 2 weeks ago wanting to do a write up on Quad, and I responded, but never heard back.

Coach,
I have an odd question, but how is Quad pre-snap? Is he able to diagnose the blitz and is he able to audible into the correct play calls? This is what separated the good QBs from great in both the pros and college with Peyton Manning arguably being the best among them. Also how are his progressions during the play, I've watched the HUDL highlights, but well they are highlights and only show him slinging the ball or running. He's got an incredible arm and can make NFL type throws. With the LSU weight program he will only get bigger and stronger which will be scary for any opposing defense!
Lastly, what classification is this in Alabama and what is the competition comparable to in say Louisiana?

Yung Buck these are great questions:
1. He is in the 5A classification. They are moving to 6A
2. You make a great point about what separates guys and I agree.
This is something that Quad does well. He has 3-4 progressions almost every play, with the ability to change his protections and check out if plays.
He’s a white board QB. Loves this part of the game.

Hearing you talk about him in how he is in the football classroom his sounds like Jameis Winston. I remember hearing he was very advanced in the football IQ department. I know JW was a 5* and top 10 ranked nationally and I’m now that’s a lot for Quad to live up to. To me he looks the part in being long and lanky with a big arm. Probably a little better of a comparison than Cam. Just my opinion.
