Imagine being Rodney and having your brother extort scholarships on your behalf...and then having your brother refuse the offer to go play out of state.
Kids this predisposed to being gaping assholes tend to miss on the next level.
That's unfortunate...these guys would have been rock stars here.

Wish no ill will. They should go where they want. We all hope the choice is made for the right reasons and not for financial considerations. At the same time, this man is no shoe in to excel at the next level.

McKnight is still the biggest melt by our fans I've seen so I'd say him. Collins and Jackson are likely next. In actuality Sopsher would be down the list for me

Not saying this because he chose Auburn but I think LSU dodged a bullet with the Moore kid. Everything I read about him screamed head case. Good luck Auburn with that one.

Most of the ones listed in this thread hurt because they publicly lead LSU on and I actually thought we had a chance. I not once thought we even had a shot with Sop.

This is a very, very tolerable melt. 
I had to think for a second on Janzen Jackson. The melt was enhanced by the fact that he waiting like 3 days to sign. This place was a zoo.
Landon Collins was a giant whif, but in retrospect it appears to be about even both ways on these big prospects that people think we need to have and how they pan out.

He was pretty much the exact opposite as Surtain.

I don't hate any of these kids. They made a business decision and turned their backs on me, you, the university and the state.
If their business decision turns out well and they go on to long, distinguished NFL careers where they earn millions and have a degree they earned which allows them to hang on to it, good for them.
But if they bust, suck, get processed, get injured, blow their money, etc, etc......???? F you you turncoat MF'er. You want to come dragging back to LA with your tail between your legs and want anything from me? You are dead to me, keep walking. Had your chance and screwed it away. I'll do damn near anything to help out a kid who played his heart out for LSU. Wear that Scarlet A, you're a turncoat, DWI.

I find it very strange you guys actually spend the time to dislike any recruits. I am happy for every kid who gets a scholarship, no matter where they pick. Everyone in their situation should do what is best for them.
