Oh it would of helped big time.. but we would still have concerns with QB position.. JJ right now isn't bad and has plenty of time to mature... just look at OM.

They have Snead a 4th year Junior and preseason dark horse for the Heisman... exactly what did he do today?

JJ is a sophomore and played decant with better but no where near OK Oline play... Not to mention it was the # 1 team FL

LSU probably won't win the SEC, but we also won't give up like last year.

It's gonna be a slight down year.

Just trust the staff... and BTW we not only have one the best recruiting coaches in Les Miles, but Porter and McCarthy are pretty damn good to.

We lost by 10 to the number 1 team we will be ok

porter and mccarthy are amazing and lm can recruit,we just can't keep playing upper classmen, regardless of talent level and continue to recruit so well

I would think the thing that hurts recruiting the most is russell sheppard not getting any touches. To have the offense struggle like they did tonight and the second coming not get any touches had to have been tough for offensive recruits looking for PT.

Why come to LSU? You'll sit on the bench abd get little playing time until your 3rd or 4th year.

LSU's draft history is among the best of any program over the past decade.

As for draft stock, Peterson and Toliver are definitely on the rise this season, as are the linebackers (especially Coleman and Riley). LaFell is the same (first round), along with Alem (3rd-4th round). The only guys who are dropping are Scott and Black.

it has been fantastic, and how many les miles' recruits drafted? i don't think tolliver is on the rise, and i seriously doubt those lb's go before the 4th round at best

Yeah, and their stock was worse before the season. Except for the early 2000 Miami teams, players don't have 7 or 8 first day picks.

I am not even a fan of Les Miles at all, but some of the positions taken are just not fair. How many Miles recruits have been drafted? His 13-man class from 2005 has plenty of redshirt seniors right now, so of course it will be a low number.

the only point i was trying to make was that recruiting has changed a lot between NS and LM.miles seems to get great rb's and wr's and a couple good defenders.not top to bottom talent like we used to

I think the talent is probably as good, outside of the offensive line. I just don't think that he can match Saban's player development.

Fortunately, I think Chavis and Cooper are a big step up from Mallveto.

Who were they?

I think Danielson was just making a joke about how nice the atmosphere was. I wonder if a guy like Richard Ash did pull the trigger though after a night like tonight.
