he's basically told the backs that the no rhyme or reason to subsitutions era was over, and he wants one guy to become a Heisman candidate. Its one reason why I don't think all is lost with Lache
is this insider stuff or was there an article i missed?

Is there a link to this anywhere? That makes no sense.
yes it does, he got a promotion and w/ that comes a raise. Miles saw the obvious in Wilson and paid him the money to bring him home. Pretty simple

I'm going to eat crow on this one.....He is looking like an amazing hire thus far

Good deal . Wilson's hire made too much sense to fail; he's beloved in this state, and is a young energetic personable coach who's thrilled ab being back home. Pretty easy sell for him when he's pumped ab finally getting a job he's wanted since he got in to coaching.

With the way his career has gone, he'll likely be a HC sooner than later. LSU needs to keep him as long as they can b/c he can be a legendary recruiter in this state at LSU.

Coach Wilson is looking like the best hire of Miles tenure at LSU and he hasn't even coached a down of football here. There's a lot to look forward to next year.

I question Wilson's coaching ability and national recruiting...I don't think anyone really questioned his recruiting in LA.

I'm still not sold on his coaching ability but he is doing great for us in recruiting. He doesn't need to be a national recruiter with talent like we have next year...

I also questioned Wilson's character but we'll see how that plays out. So far, looking good Frank, keep up the great work.

I'm actually more excited about his rb philosophy than his recruiting

Does he actually play the most talented person?
