I am not guessing about the situation. Not saying any more. Continue to bash the kid if you would like.

You should understand Gaye is not a “project juco” as you posted. He will play right away. Only way he’s not in the class is if we sign Burch.

No, it’s because you are babbling about something you don’t have the facts about. Lay off the kid.

The facts are self explanatory. We have a FORUM DWELLER who knew this, but you honestly believe the player didn't? It takes a special kind of ignorance to believe that.

Dude, you are talking out your arse.

The kid scheduled an official to Ole Miss. OUR STAFF asked him not to go. He canceled it and reaffirmed his commitment. 24 hours later he was processed.

What about that is the kid wavering?
Clearly the coaches got a call from someone higher on the board.

Stop shitting on teenagers. Even the pay sites are saying this came from the LSU side. You're so obtuse.

There’s no way you’ve possibly ever been in a position to do this. But if you’re about to fire someone due to a budget deficit, you have that conversation with your boss/peers, before you inform the employee.

Jesus, you are either extremely ignorant, or almost too retarted to function. Did you have an adult type for you, cause Im having serious doubts you can handle the vastness of the internet on your own.

You think its more likely that Lee knew he was being told to look around, but purposefully reaffirmed his commitment anyway??? Like a girl breaking up with a guy, but the guy purposefully goes online and announced they are newly engaged; therefore, setting himself up for total social suicide by embarrassment???

That scenario is more likely in your tiny head than Vol being a potential insider privy to the decision makers, who all knew (the coaches/staff who made the decision to cut bait) before they told Jalen himself??

You do realize that there is some time that passes between the staff making the decision to ask Lee to look around, and actually asking Lee to look around...

To put it plainly, perhaps they had made the decision but didnt know the best time to break the news as its a delicate matter. Lee then forced their hand by announcing to the whole Twitterverse that he was 110 percent committed. Once he did this, the staff had to let him know immediately to try to salvage any pride and save the kid from further embarrassment.

Did you really need this spelled out to you, jackass???

Stop giving Jalen a hard time. Break-ups are never easy, much less in a public forum, as in todays world and in the recruiting sphere - even though, it usually works out best for both parties as they both find replacements that suit them better. We will find someone who has increased value and playing time for LSU, and Jalen will find a program where his talents will be utilized more often, he will be need more and have a greater impact...

And screw you for making me have to spell that out, and waste everyones time...

LSU has become a destination for nationwide recruits now. Coaches may have no other choices if better recruits want to come.

Yes, I think he knew. I guess you haven't paid attention to the last umpteen years of kids saying things for attention.

You come up with that soap opera style theory, and I'M the jackass?

Let me spell this out for YOU. When a player says he is "reaffirming" his commitment, do you actually believe that word has any tangible meaning? Patrick Surtain was a "strong lean" to LSU, only to go to Bama. It's a game.

I'm not saying Lee wasn't "processed", I think he was. But I think he said one thing to stir people up, and then did the opposite. Because that's what kids do, these days.

Again, you can't tell me this just crept up all of a sudden. When guys on the internet have it figured out, you can be sure the player had been made aware.

I don't buy any of the lame excuses any of you are making. You're all sheep who follow whatever the mob tells you to say on these idiotic boards. Not a single one of you has the guts to formulate your own thought, for fear of the big bad internet persecution.

You are right about one thing, though. You DID waste your time trying to spell out "the process" to me. I already know how that works, and have adressed it multiple times. But your own lack of reading comprehension prevented you from understanding that I don't believe he JUST NOW got processed.

LSU can forget about going back to Live Oak to recruit its next 4/5 star prospect. Consider the bridge burned.

I never questioned him. The point is that if HE knows these things, the players are aware. I don't know who Vol knows, but if information is being leaked to an internet poster, that word is getting out to the players. They are the one's in the center of this.

Jeez, you’re dense. The people that posted it on here (Vol) got word Lee was being processed before Lee knew because the staff more than likely discussed this at great length before telling him they were moving on from his commitment. Their source is someone on staff, therefore, yes, some “internet lurkers” knew before the player himself knew. This isn’t all that hard.
