Yeah. He has a pretty good percentage too.

I've heard everything you have likely read. He loved his stay, loves Coach O, his uncle was beyond pleased and the pitch to play early and be developed for the NFL was very well received. That said, the politics and recruiting layout in Florida makes it exceptionally hard to land a kid like this for an out of state school. For now, I'm leaning towards LSU being able to hold onto what I believe to be a lead for Manuel because I've witnessed what Raymond and Orgeron can do first hand.
Leonard Williams was a kid I was close to during his high school career. He trained at our facility right outside of Daytona. I wasn't involved (disclaimer), but I was made aware of his process throughout his entire recruitment. The way Orgeron came in and swept him away from Florida, Florida State and Clemson was quite impressive. If that Orgeron follows through on this kid, I believe he will land him. Add Corey Raymond to the equation and they may be able to convert Gautama Buddha to Christianity.

Still a long way to go but you have to like LSU's chances with that recruiting team.Of course the on field production of current Dlinemen will also be a factor.

He was a toss up. Numbers are going to play a factor here, too. I think LSU is very much in the mix for Lawrence, even though I feel like Bama is a very serious threat, but I have enough reservations regarding the situation to leave him off for now.
The defensive needs are substantial in every position group. As guys drop off, like Trey L being dismissed, or possibly a kid appearing to be NFL bound early, it may ultimately determine where they go with the last spots available. Joyner, Lawrence and Mullen were the three that could have very easily been on the list. In fact, I had Joyner ahead of McCulloch quite a few times. This is what I went with for now, but I doubt the list will be the same in 2 weeks let alone 7 months.

Thanks for the reply. You bring valuable info on this board, don't listen to anyone who tells you different.

So what's up with the wr from Bastrop. He is ranked like #102 in ESPN 300. Any chance we take him in the final 8. Is he even a take? Just crazy that I haven't heard anything about him being that I from northeast la and I follow high school football and LSU recruiting like crazy. Educate me ha.

Something would have to change for Lawrence to turn down LSU. That's his top choice right now.
