Least exciting committment to date for LSU Fans. If he was a Louisiana kid then I'd feel a little better about it. If we are going to sign marginal talent let's do it from within the state. Going forward, I hope the staff is a little more selective or we'll all be dissappointed in our final recruiting rankings. And don't kid yourselves flamers, you know you are hoping to finish high in the recruiting rankings. Spare me the Jacob Hester argument as well...I want to change my son's name to Jacob Hester Billiot, but we all know he is the exception.

Do you know ANYTHING about this kid or seen him play?

I'm gonna say probably not.....

Don't need to...that's the job of the scouting websites and coaches. Based on his offers and ranking then most of the experts think he is marginal.

We need all of the depth we can muster on O-Line. Welcome aboard, Josh!

Dacajun1, they might have made a mistake. It could be something where he didn't attend many camps, so they couldn't evaluate him. Remember Ryan Baker last year? He was a sleeper until the recruiting services saw schools like LSU were interested, so they started evaluating him better and eventually he shot up in the top 100. With this guy's size, I'm willing to bet he'll probably shoot up too. Hes just under the radar for now, I guess.

5 star depth on the offensive line is for the Big 10.

I like your style deuce. Take notice Flamers. This is how you make a legitimate point.

Just because you know nothing about the kid, why do people have to be negative, just like Hurst from last year, they seem to be projects who could blossom into really good linemen down the line.

i think the point is that we've pretty much never had 5* OL, instead 3 and 4 star kids that get coached up to being pretty solid players.

If rankings are based on offers, will Williford's ranking go up now that the National Champions have offered? If and when his ranking goes up, will Bammers & Plainsfolk be asking their coaches to get their boy to stay in-state? I wouldn't doubt it.

It's fourth & 1. The game's on the line. I'd call for Pratt to run right behind BIG WILLI!

Flawed logic. Three star guys get kicked off the team as well.
