Jarrett Lee would do great in a skills competition.

Yea, but he has got a quick release and can get time for the receivers.
We cant judge someone by the skills challenge, we need to wait til Sunday and see what they can do on the field And see if they have the intangibels(sp) and leadership to help their time win.

He got recognized for his quick release at the Elite 11 camp he attended.

Our offense is designed for short passes.... accuracy is more important then arm strength. We rarely throw the ball downfield. I think he's perfect for OUR offense. I think Texas made a good decision as to what they need at UT.

I just want yall to know that JLee had one of the best at some skills challenge, can't recall it, and look how he was this year.

Now I'm not hating on Lee but he was great in these skill challenges. Those don't measure how well you would play in a game is my point.

Vinnie Testerverde always was excellent in the NFL skills challenge.

All you morons who talk about stats can see why he's the best QB prospect out there

He has no mobility at all. 22 TDs/18 picks Impressive!

I expect that from a dual threat QB when compared with the best pocket passers in the country.

i'm not all that concerned with shepard's throwing ability at this point. he'll get high level coaching when he gets to baton rouge, starting this spring, so he'll have plenty of time to improve as much as he can.

everyone kinda forgets he will only have to face ZONE in college. no DC in the country will have his DBs turn and run with WRs and allow shep to rip a huge gain

so he doesnt have elite arm strength-- big deal. he brings a ton of other tangibles and intangibles to the table. this isnt the NFL where you gotta have the big time arm to succeed

Whoever said Shep has a weak arm is stupid. He may be inaccurate but his arm strength is fine. Most of the QBs that I have watched have stunk, but that's not shocking given the circumstances.

Oh, so now every scout at the UA game has stated that Shep's arm is weak?

Yep, they're all stupid.
