Bowman is the likely grade casualty. And he runs in the 4.8 area so that's not a promising start for a guy hoping to see the field right away.

I am pretty sure he runs better than a 4.8
I think he is in the 4.55-4.6 range.

Did you tell him how cool it was for him come out in LSU gear and switch to Bama gear at his announcement?

Scout and Rivals have Bowman listed as a 4.5 guy. I've heard various things but I hear that his speed is not a problem and his route running is more of a concern.

i believe your statement means "to virutally every LSU fan in GA that's seen the kid."

On Rivals.. which is typically accurate(or at least close), he runs a 4.5 according to actual scouts.

early reports are that we will actually be better at TE this year--transfer out of GT is supposedly pretty good

You did the right thing. My question was rhetorical, sarcastic and not meant towards you. Thanks for taking it the right way. In the long run, being an arse only hurts yourself and/or LSU in those situations.

Neither McCall or Walker will be drafted, so it's not like either were outstanding.

I believe that our TE passing game will improve a good bit, as Smelley did fairly well towards the end of last year and Peek seems to be a pretty good ball-catcher as well. It's the run-blocking I'd like to see.

No one on this board knows what going to happen next year. Before last year, no one, and i mean NO ONE thought that we were going to go undefeated in the regular season.

hey mr funky. I gurangoddamnteeyou that lafell, scott, ridley, dickson are not afriad one bit of sabans "defense" i will also gurangoddamnteeyou that saban cannot plan for holliday, jefferson, shepard, randle, lafell, keiland, scott, ridley, tolliver, dickson, michell (and for shitz and giggles we might have brooks or williams in the slot). And who knows maybe peterson or toliver heh heh!. As a matter of fact if i remember corectly saban craps his pants with running qb's. Picture randle, lafell, tolliver with jefferson under center with scott and shepard in the backfield. Your vaunted defensive backs will be covering our tall/fast five star recievers. Then you still have to spy jefferson, plug the middle for scott and oh wait, who's gonna account for the most electrifying athlete in the history of the universe?????? You see this has notta to do with defensive backs. Good luck with jefferson, randle and shepard (who's gonna throw/recieve the ball OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG)

When they release combine results for Bowman(the small blue "R" on his profile) maybe we can put this to rest.

He ran the times I mentioned while Chad Simmons was watching. He reported it in the premium content. If Bowman runs faster than a 4.7, I'll stop posting for a month. If he runs a 4.5, I'll quit Rivals for good.

Your info is wrong.

Bowman is a 4.7 guy. Nothing wrong with that, but Georgia is the 4th best state for producing BCS-conference talent, and Bowman is not Top 10 in that group. Plus, his grades are a huge question mark. Why shouldnt this affect his rating, but it does for other prospects?

Bowman is one of those kids that looks great in a uniform, but doesn't play like he looks like he can. I remember our mods saying he didn't do anything to separate himself from the pact at the Offense/Defense all star game. He may make a decent possession WR, but I doubt he becomes anything special.
